Mountain biking in Grindelwald

Among bikers, Grindelwald is no longer a secret. The Grindelwald Bike Arena has more than 160 km of signposted mountain bike trails for experienced bikers with high expectations as well as routes for families with children. Tours with GPS-devices are especially popular, as are guided mountain bike tours. Bikes can be rented from several places. In hardly any other region will you find so many excellent opportunities to enjoy a mountain bike holiday. The signposted routes over the Männlichen to Brandegg, and also the other routes, offer spectacular panoramic views that you will long remember.

Climbing and high mountain tours

Grindelwald Sports offers you the opportunity to learn climbing & mountaineering on any of over 100 different courses, all with professional guidance. If you have always wanted to climb a mountain peak, in Grindelwald you can. For climbers there are several rocks in the region where they can enjoy themselves. You can find climbing rocks in Mürren, Rotstock, Ostegg, Schwarzhorn and elsewhere.

Summer holiday with the family

There are numerous activities for the whole family: "Grindelwald 4 Kids" offers organised recreational activities for your children with youngsters in their own age group, giving parents the opportunity to take a break. Kids can also try scooter biking in Grindelwald, and there is a summer-toboggan run near the lookout post in Pfingstegg, a big open air swimming pool in Hellbach, a very popular Alpine playground near the middle station Firstbahn, and an Alpine Bird Park at the foot of the Wetterhorn.

Fun sports in Grindelwald
